Warm weather arrives in the Valley of Hearts Delight this week. We need more rain, but we get a mini heat wave instead. Mother Nature works in mysterious ways. I don't mind the heat too much, but I hope we don't get a lot of it this Summer.

Speaking of ol' Ma Nature, I was watching one of the network news shows last night and the anchor said the recent earthquakes in China stretched the equivalent of Maine to Arizona. Damn! So sad.

We have no control over any of this.

This is s. She's a student assistant at work. We get the nicest young people helping us. She's a Communications major - waiting to hear from eBay about an internship this Summer. I really hope she gets it ...
